Apollo Ballet Leotard and skirt from the JL Gazelle collection – Stretch Knit with Mesh and a Chiffon Skirt

Gazella’s reflection on the course
I’ve learned so much, so quickly. I wouldn’t have figured out the intricate details the program has to offer on my own in such a short amount of time.

Sleeveless Wrap Dress

In one of the lessons Roz showed how to scan your fabric, with your mobile phone, and create a repeat – so you can sample a garment with your existing fabric stock.

How the instructor used this design in the course
“In Advanced Techniques I use this dress to show how important it is to use real materials, real sources, and real draping for your fabrics.”

Dandelion Black & White dress

Angle cut dress that offers a form-hugging fit with a cinching tie waistband and soft flowing bow. Custom print designed in an uneven repetition against a black background to create a dynamic rhythm.

Gazella’s reflection on the course
“Roz, I am now able to design more creatively, you have made learning CLO so intuitive. I can’t get enough!”

Sixties' dress

My design is a ponte knit trapeze dress with cut-out circles and trim. I used solid navy, solid red, and a hounds tooth for the texture. I like the free flowing style of the dress and the geometric pattern with the cut-outs.
