This course will bring your Browzwear VStitcher skills to the next level. You will build on the basics you learned in Browzwear University and understand how to incorporate VStitcher into your overall design process. You will internalize good workflow techniques while learning to apply the software tools to real-world situations. You will follow along with an instructor-led project from start to finish, then apply those skills to your own portfolio-worthy project. You will learn to use blocks as your starting point for any design and employ VStitcher to visualize and innovate in real time.

This course is well suited to those working in Design, Technical Design and Patternmaking functions within Brands, Factories, Product Development Agencies or as Freelancers.
It is targeted at Browzwear users who want to elevate their VStitcher skills.
Learners will need to have completed Browzwear University 101 & 201 courses or possess equivalent software knowledge / level of familiarity, as well as Tech Design or Patternmaking knowledge or experience.

How will you learn?

The course is self-paced and includes a pre-assessment test, modules of interactive instruction based on videos, animations, practical exercises, discussion questions and knowledge assessments.
It ends with a post-assessment test and project where learners submit their own project using the techniques learned in the course.

All participants who successfully complete the course will receive a Portland Apparel Lab Certificate of Completion.

Your avatar forms the foundation for all your designs. Build a custom avatar that suits your brand.

FAQ

The course price does not include the cost of a license for Vstitcher. If you do not already have a software license through work or school, you can contact Browzwear directly. 

You can also apply for the Browzwear Indie Program, that includes a free trial license of Vstitcher through Dec. 31, 2021.

You should have version 2021.1 or 2021.2. You may also be able to use 2020 September version, but a few features may be missing.

This is an intermediate level course and you should be familiar with the basics of the software before you begin Module 1. For the best experience, please complete Browzwear University 101 or your company’s onboarding. Browzwear University 201 is suggested, but not required for this course.

The course is based on step-by-step recorded instructor-led video tutorials and work-along lessons with practical exercises, discussion questions and knowledge assessments. It ends with a post-assessment test and project where learners submit their own design using the techniques learned in the course. As a MOTIF platform user you will also have access to extra-resources such as the MOTIF 3D Fashion Tech Community.

This price gives you access to the ‘Browzwear for Creative Design’ intermediate course and all its updates for 1 year from date of purchase. Updates are revisions / add-ons that may be brought to the content of the ‘Browzwear for Creative Design’ course during your 1 year subscription.

With the early bird ticket, you get early access to Module 1 & Module 2 along with 20% off the entire 9 modules at 199 USD. The whole course will launch on 1st November.

All-Access Pass holders can take the ‘Browzwear for Creative Design’ course as well as any of the online courses published on MOTIF during their yearly subscription.

You will receive a MOTIF Certificate of Completion upon successfully completing all online training components, including assignments, assessments and a final design submission.
