  • Peter Elwin Peter Elwin Head of Textiles & Land Use, Planet Tracker

    Peter Elwin is Director of Fixed Income, and Head of the Land Use and Textiles Programmes, at financial think tank Planet Tracker and has over 20 years of financial markets experience in senior management and functional roles on the buy side and sell side. His experience covers ESG, strategy, finance and operations Peter was previously Head of Research at the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS), one of the largest UK private pension schemes with over £60bn under management. Before joining USS, Peter was Deputy Head of European Research and the #1-rated Global Head of Pensions, Valuation, & Accounting research at JP Morgan. Peter studied Politics & Government before qualifying as an accountant and then working as a financial trainer. He began his career in the City with Cazenove & Co, initially as Head of Training and Development, before moving to equity research.

  • Anna-Marie Slot Anna-Marie Slot Global Sustainability Partner, Ashurst

    Anna-Marie is our Global Environment, Social and Governance Partner and the Head of High Yield Debt with two decades of experience acting for investment banks and companies in a wide range of corporate finance and securities transactions and brings this expertise and experience to the green bond market. In particular Anna-Marie has worked on a range of firsts across capital markets and the biggest green bond issuance in the Asia market. As Global ESG Partner, she also leads the firm's ESG strategy across practices and industries both internally and through engagement with clients. Recently appointed to the ICMA Advisory Council of the Green Bond Principles and Social Bond Principles Executive Committee, Anna-Marie is also a member of the AFME Sustainable Finance and Green Finance Working Group, the New Markets Task Force and Impact Reporting Working Group and the APLMA Green and Sustainable Loan Committee. She also works closely with the Climate Bonds Initiative in the UK and in Australia. Anna-Marie has been named as one of the world's top 300 female transactional lawyers in IFLR1000 Women Leaders for 2018 and 2019 for debt capital markets and banking. She is also listed as a leading individual for debt capital markets and high yield in Hong Kong in Asia Pacific Legal 500, IFLR1000 and Chambers Asia-Pacific. Anna-Marie won The Best in Capital Markets at The Economy Asia Women in Business Awards 2018. Anna-Marie has also spoken at a number of conferences and roundtables on ESG including most recently at the AFME Annual European Leveraged Finance Virtual Conference. Prior to joining Ashurst, Anna-Marie worked in London and Hong Kong at a leading international law firm headquartered in the US. She has also worked in both New York and London for a major New York law firm.

  • Pat-nie Woo Pat-nie Woo moderator Partner, KPMG

    Partner at KPMG China. Pat is the Global Co-Chair for Sustainable Finance for KPMG Impact and heads up the Sustainable Finance practice in HK. He also chairs the working group for ESG for the Financial Services Development Council in Hong Kong. Extensive knowledge in ESG, having worked in finance and in the supply chain.
