Inside the Alvanon Standard | North America Men’s Series
Join Alvanon as we launch the New North American Men’s Standard Series.
These standard bodies have been designed to accommodate different merchandising strategies: either separate Regular and Big Men ranges, or as an inclusive continuous size range.
They enable garment designers and technologists to create, develop, fit, and share their designs on bodies based on human anatomy.
The series is created with an understanding of pattern-making and garment production in mind, to help brands, designers and retailers ensure their products achieve the best possible fit.
These bodies are state-of-the-art industrial garment evaluation tools, available as physical AlvaForms and 3D virtual avatars available now on the Alvanon Body Platform.
Our standards optimally represent the North American male in size and shape at each size in the range. The size set is inclusive from XS to 6XL and provides options for Athletic and Classic body shapes.
In this session, Don Howard, Executive Director, and Senior Consultants Alice Rodrigues and Emily Robertson-Hood will share the methodology and story behind the development of the New North American Men’s Standard Series.
